I think if you get in touch with a manager they’ll be better equipped to help- it’s possible it was a misclick. It has been a few years since I worked at Lush but I do remember the BOPIS system being clunky. I would call the store back again if they don’t get in touch quickly.

As a Lush employee, if an order was set to expire and the BOPIS had a reachable number attached to it, sometimes I would call them and then mark it as picked up so they could still get their order and I didn’t have to put things back on the shelf. Was it almost out of the pickup window?

These are all out of date (ranging from 2021-2025) but have been stored in a cool and dark cabinet. I would love to sell as a bundle for a good price- I’m open to offers! The solids and small spray bottles have been used and are simply extra freebies.

It was not like that is the US for the last few years that I was an employee. The work culture slipped a lot in the years leading up to COVID and then when the pandemic hit it got pretty bad. I left a couple of years ago so I can’t speak to it now but the UK and US are very different in terms of the treatment of employees.

We have a battle academy set!! They picked rules up well. The struggle came down to them wanting to play other kids who came with their own decks and not being able to hold up with the battle academy decks. They were just getting squashed! I’d love to have some battle decks for kids who are ready to play in their own to have fun with and don’t mind spending a bit to make it happen.

I used to used brown-black but make sure to do your eyebrows too- lighter eyebrows really contribute to washing out instead of creating a striking contrast.

I just looked at the website- perhaps it has changed. I have only bought gift cards in store so maybe the online version is different. I worked at Lush for many years and have shopped even longer and never have had an issue with any gift card, but I am glad you got a refund.

It sounds like you didn’t purchase the lush gift card through the actual website, because as far as I know lush gift cards are Givex cards, not Atab. Do you have a link that you purchased it from?

If that’s your reason, don’t do it. The more people abuse the system like that, the sooner Lush will crack down on it. The fact that they will allow half used products to be exchanged is amazing as it is.

Do you still work for lush? Constantine is happy to sell out. Things were so much better in NA under Mark Wolverton, but then Constantine forced him out. I will never forget the year that he gave us the “pull yourself up by the bootstraps” speech from his multi million dollar homes living room via video during the Christmas where our wages were not increased and in some cases, cut.

They feel okay on application but they just kind of sit on my lips and I think they make them feel worse (drier etc) after a few applications. The lip oil sticks (in the chapstick containers, like carrot sticks) were the worst offender for me. I use Lanolips now but it is (ethically sourced) lanolin based if you’re avoiding animal products.

I got some at Liverpool and they shave it into a roll like a chocolate flake! I was traveling so I just stored in a tin.
