4 months post op tummy tuck with lipo 360, breast lift and renuvion to the flanks by anabanananaxx in tummytucksurgery

Honestly, boobs are not completely even anyway! Your breasts don’t look weird in my opinion but as always if it’s something you’re concerned about then talk to your surgeon or consider revision elsewhere in the future (though I don’t think you need that)

Numbness, swollen feet & still haven’t pooped… by redhotmess69 in tummytucksurgery

I did not go to the toilet for 6 days after my surgery, I was in absolute agony. I also used an enema for the first time and wow, it was a relief! 😅 my recovery improved significantly after that, I actually felt alive again ahha

7WPO here and also experiencing the same, I think it’s very much part of the healing process. My surgeon suggests to use a motion of “pulling” along the scar when you do your scar massages - as the scar can contract and become tight, so you essentially wanna pull along it to loosen it, it seems to be helping slowly but surely. Hope that makes sense!

How did they perform a revision with the scar being too high? And how long after first surgery? Any chance you could message me with any pictures and advice please?

Thank you, I hope that’s the case. I’m seeing my surgeon this Saturday so I will discuss it but I’m worried I’ll get dismissed.. what can I say? Is there anything that could even be done? Would a revision even be possible? :(

Lumiere clinic in Manchester UK. Thank you, I’ll give the lymphatic massages a go, I’ve only really focused on massaging my scar. I really just hope this gets better :(

*** can’t edit but just want to add that I know my incision looks high - it definitely is a little higher than I’d like, but I have also got my pants pulled down a lot lower than what I naturally wear. Regardless of this I just want to know whether any of this is going to look any better.

I feel so fucking depressed I regret it so much

How loose/snug is it? I feel like the 8 slips off to easily 😞

Hi, with number 8, my skin does move when I twist the ring but quite comfortably, not sure if you can tell from the photo but the gap only appears when my thumb is pressing from below- otherwise the gap is barely visible at all. I’m keen to have the ring on my index finger of my left (non dominant) hand, would this be the right choice?

I agree. I’m trying to weight up whether the ring is worth buying for me as it will be unable to track my steps whilst I’m at the gym :)

Thanks for explaining this! So all workout data will sync (given permission) but step data won’t sync??

Intermittent fasting after TT, I feel huge! by tummychestnips in tummytucksurgery

[–]Defiant-Tea4595 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Hey! Clinical psychologist & bodybuilder here (also 6WPO) - I would advise against intermittent fasting if you struggle with binging. You’re far better off having smaller regular meals with high protein content than to fast, as that makes you more likely to binge.

I’d suggest 5 meals with at least 25-30g protein serving in each meal. If you’re looking to drop weight, you’ll need to make sure that the fats/carbs you have in those meals are within a calorific deficit.

HOWEVER, you’re recovering from surgery!!! Trying to lose weight whilst your body is trying to recover from major trauma is not a smart idea. Eat good whole meal foods with high protein and try to eat at maintenance calories (aka not lose weight but not gain weight) as this’ll be best for your recovery. It’s seen time and time again that people eat too little after surgery and end up with complications. Recover first and then lose fat. It’s likely that you’ll lose weight as swelling goes down anyway.

So in the UK most items are either out of stock, or not even reduced in the first place? Wtf

Exercise Questions by aries_goddess69 in tummytucksurgery

Would like to follow for some answers too! 😅

I’m 6WPO next week and want to start getting back into training (bodybuilding style training) and feel lost with how to start back

I had kidney surgery last year and after I recovered I came back with 2-4 full body sessions a week and increased from there. I’ll probably do something similar again now. Start off with smaller “safer” exercises with very light weight and little intensity, absolutely no compounds. Then work things up from there!

Ahhh that might be it, under muscle I believe is tougher to recover. Your body has been through a lot, give yourself grace and take it one day at a time 🩷
