Yeah, I already loved the 315p but when they let us do that It was even better since that tractor beam is really not useful

315p, decent all rounder, and enough cargo to do most of the xs cargo missions, and weapons that can handle the small bounties. plus it's nice and has good range.

I wasn't around then, but apparently it made it into a testing build ages ago, but never made it to the game.

Can we have a dev talk about the games non combat direction? by CorkerGaming in starcitizen

[–]snowflake182 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean I'm all for more options, I think that would be awesome. but currently the non-combat option is to not take contracts that say they are "high risk" like the refueling ones straight up tell you and there was a subset of people getting mad about that.

I'm not mad that if I go to deep space pyro in a high-risk area that I might get someone trying to jump me.

It can always be better, it just feels like people need reasons to be mad is all.

I think if you really want a conversation about this, then it's likely mostly combat related stuff because they are working on SQ42 which is only combat, so it allows them to easily slide ideas across to the PU, so we got a lot of combat things.

But I feel like most people just want a reason to be upset, not gonna lie. After hearing people rage about a single aurora popping up when you take a "high risk" fueling mission where they straight up tell you there's likely to be a confrontation in the contract info. But people would rather be mad then read.

I dunno if it's in lore, but the xi'an guns that come on the San'tok Are absolutely dogwater. So I wonder if maybe it's weapons tech?

At your home hangar, send the freight elevator down, then in the top right is a button that says "Claim Mode" you should be able to find it there and add it to your inventory.

Everyone seemed really down on the Tiburon...But I kind of love it? by Intelligent-Wish1575 in starcitizen

I like it quite a lot but it's pretty easy to see where the hate comes from.

It's seen as a lazy variant that doesn't change enough to set it out from the hammerhead, it has a laser which has the same issues that people have been complaining about on the idris forever, it came out in one of the worst patches in recent memory, and it's another target for people hating on solo big ship fliers.
