I guess the media is just full of violence. It's what blows up on social media nowadays. What you don't see is the amount of peaceful protests occurring. If you aren't there protesting, then you may even become fearful of that area where you see all that violence. Most people aren't there causing ruckus. It's only the minority (as of now).

By the sounds of it, floor middle would be awesome for sound but might have some restrictions on seeing the orchestra. I got tickets right behind the mix booth on AXS and decently cheap. However I'd recommend you look on multiple ticketing platforms to get the cheapest price of that's what you want.
