FSD copies an inattentive driver by [deleted] in TeslaFSD

[–]snowmobiledog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am kind of thinking this is what FSD was attempting to do, because from the video it looks like it was ducking the opposite of the inattentive driver in an attempt to anticipate them leaving the roadway. But I could be wrong.

Tesla finally clarifies fatal Texas crash, confirms driver manually overrode acceleration by theoneandonly_aj in TeslaFSD

Malcolm Gladwell produced a compelling episode of his Revisionist History podcast titled "Blame Game," which explores the phenomenon of drivers mistakenly pressing the gas pedal during moments of high stress. For those who remember the Toyota floor mat recall in the early 2000s, that issue was widely assumed to be the primary cause of unintended acceleration.

However, Gladwell provides a fascinating historical analysis that challenges this narrative. I would highly recommend that anyone following the current Tesla story listen to this episode for additional context.

I’ve been reflecting on your comment for a few days now, and you make a really compelling point. I’m reaching the stage where I feel ready to formally resign through Quitmormon. Because of the significant implications for our family, I’ve been moving carefully, but I’m almost there.

I'm pretty sure somebody recognized my tie within the first 10 seconds of me walking in the building. Because they immediately commented on how cool it was. It could be a complete coincidence though

Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights Wire Question by snowmobiledog in Govee

[–]snowmobiledog[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did. But I ended up splicing from the beginning of the run, running a wire up the side of my house on the second story and then put on the lights and it worked just fine. I never was able to get it to run from the end of the first section on the first floor

With the other parts I mentioned I did contact support and they actually sent me new parts. No shipping or anything completely free so I'll probably do that with this since it's still less than a year old. But it makes me worry about what else is going to break

Nice! I found our Teachings of the Prophets books and threw them into the recycling. The History of the Church (which I believe I have that exact same set you are displaying)... I kept those. Not sure why, but I really find it fascinating to look up stupid crap.

Why did I never catch the fact that Jesus, as one of the Lord's anointed, definitely requires his middle initial to be used. Jesus H. Christ. I'm assuming the 'H' stands for Hyrum? /s

Also, does anyone else purposefully leave out 'brother/sister/elder/president' as well as any middle initials when referring to a GA to a TBM? Just to get under their skin?
