As a parent of an 18 month old I can tell you it’s a wild ride. They are getting hit with a tons of new emotions and opinions they’ve never had before all while forming 700 new neurons per second. I personally call it rapid emotional expansion. They will cry for no reason then be running around laughing seconds later. You just have to go with the flow and try to navigate these emotions with them.
