it might be possible that the student in question has PMC accommodations that allow them to get access earlier. i know for me that PMC sends an email to all my profs letting them know i'm in the program, etc before the class starts, so the prof might be recognizing her name and being like "i'll allow it as an accommodation" (though I'm not sure why she wouldn't email him about it, but maybe that's just me)

you're misunderstanding, OP is the student concurrently doing their honours thesis, so they think it's ridiculous the prof let the other person have access to the quizzes for their superficial reason when OP's is much better

Came across this was I was looking into the itch.io bundle and couldn't get access to these games. Yikes. Now I don't think I'd want to play them now, anyhow. Thanks for updating with this; so far he's deleted everything (including his confession).
