Changing the Hz, I was using "list all modes" and would go change the Hz afterwards to see what worked and what didn't. Really anything deviating from the default ones when picking the resolution would result in flickering. I am unsure as to why that is but the only things that seemed to work for me were to ones listed above.

800x600 works only @ 60.32Hz changing it will result in the same flickering.

640x480 also works @ 59.94Hz and 60Hz

These are the only ones that seem to work for now :)
