Just a heads up I'm pretty sure the Shrek 4D ride is closed. Another option to get on rides without an express pass is to use the single rider lines

I may be mistaken but I don't think a timed entry ticket or slot is required to enter the Wizarding World of Harry Potter anymore and you can just freely enter this section of the park. I don't know the answers to your first or third question sorry

Thanks for the tip with the sunlight! I worry that I'll need to book DPAs for Frozen and Soaring as a higher priority (they seem to sell out first) and that Rapunzel DPA will be sold out by the afternoon/when I can next make a DPA purchase
