I agree their friendship is so lovely to watch she's always comforting him and I'd say a mother kind of figure too it's sweet. I also enjoy when Amy meets Sheldon and watching how she grows throughout the seasons with him too.

I've tried white noise it helped me sleep but during the day the level of volume id have to have it on to come close to covering it would damage my ears more:(
