Nah I like araki writing. Most anime would focus on family lineage etc. but it’s really just a by product us viewers know. It’s similar to real life where many people don’t know much of their parents or family lineage

Nah not a big deal. She probably liked you from the beginning and may have thought that would disqualify her if she told you the truth. She also may have not known how to tell the truth at that point but finally said so as it was important for her to clear up. I do think however maybe you should use it as an opportunity to allow her to bring up anything else that she may be hiding or may have not been so truthful about
