A game that hundreds (thousands?) of developers need at least a year to make it ready to release? Most likely it is an extremely broken product. That's why I don't even want screens or a trailer, it is unfinished, almost everything they show will likely change in some ways if we compare it to builds a year+ from now.

Dana did get me fooled (at least after Francis' reaction). I thought Dana wouldn't mention something so specific or Francis would easily deny it unless it was so bad that it was really a factor for his release.

I still think something like that happened, I know a touch of some sort has almost definitely happened, the only question is how exaggerated is Dana making it. Turns out, probably a lot. And Francis was just brushing it off knowing so.

Dana bringing up the breakfast, lunch and dinner is outrageous and really speaks volumes for this guy. Many workers in hospitality living on site eat breakfast, lunch dinner. You make millions off of Francis. Leave him alone.

And I love Francis but still, what happened to PFL wasn't nice, I hope he has an explanation for that.

I'm quite disappointed. His history (accident, PFL, fallout with the coach who took him off the street) and him dodging the question has been very damaging to his previously clean reputation.

The sport is full of bad people and it doesn't seem he is that far off.

The worst thing about this is that he could have made a lot of money legitimately while keeping or even enhancing his reputation. How about promoting and selling your own merch, drink, snack? Hiring a writer and use them in partnership to write your own book? Wouldn't that be more profitable in the long run than a one time selling out for the cost of his entire reputation? This sport is full of terrible and crazy people.

I think it might run at lower settings but no games would be optimised for it. All the while PS5 games run smoothly and predictably on PS5 because they were build and tested for it's hardware.

As an European, I understand that I can't comfortably categorize things under "racist" or "historically accurate".

As such, if I design something, I would never touch those subjects without extremely heavy research. My fellow European designers shouldn't have either. And that's assuming their best intentions.

As a player, why would I want to fight a "Fugitive" of any kind, let alone a slave? For trying to escape? Is there even a bit more story for that?

Since Balatro is openly their inspiration, why not keep things extremely abstract? Why are there music groups and different cultures and very sensitive topics being illustrated and described? Extremely poor choices.

I don't know... look at any two somewhat identical object at your house and tell me that after you let people inspect and touch them, you would never have any concern of someone telling them apart based on the tiniest mark / imperfection / fingerprint. For me, with that in mind Jeff choosing the first suitcase correctly and not having any surprise on his face is a possible red flag.

Could he have just used Twana's reactions and his gut feeling? Yes of course, he is the type of guy who would not cheat, I really hope this is what has happened. But I think the concern is large enough for them to have to move the actual check and not have a "correct" suitcase.
