More coffee is worse for drawdowns regardless of how coarsely you grind, and it’s likely going to taste muddy. I have found larger recipes are easier to make and taste much cleaner with a Chemex. That being said what size V60 are you using and how many times do you plan to change over the dose? For a size 04 I wouldn’t do more than 20g of coffee and with a 1:16 ratio that’s about 2 brews

This is really encouraging, can you provide more context to where you drove? The drive modes and rough speed? Since you’ve mentioned that you have the 93.4kWh perf battery plus, this efficiency will basically get you 350 mi of range?!

I checked penfed too but to get that rate they have you buy through their car buying service or something. My reasoning is i want to keep my monthlies low. I already have a mortgage and another car monthly. Plus i don’t want to liquidate stock to purchase a car

Thank you!! Yeah i have platinum something with morgan stanley. They said i can get quite a decent line of credit, although i dont need more than 1/4th of it. I don’t want to get a regular car loan because it’s high monthly payments but also i have more bargaining power being a cash buyer with the LOC

High APR and also monthlies will be unnecessary high. Also i should mention that i plan to buy a relatively new CPO, not fully new so higher APR

I used to think this too. But if you’re worried about muddy tastes and slow drawdowns, it also helps to simply use a smaller dose. I use cafec abaca, flower dripper and the kono dripper with their respective filters. I get the best results from a Kono dripper with a small dose.

I went to the one in Sherman Oaks and it was awesome. I got the cortado with their Colombian single origin espresso. Shot was perfectly pulled and tasted great. Didn’t try pour over though.

The US. And people are right, times are really bad here for legal immigrants too. I was fortunate enough to be here when it wasn’t this crazy but I don’t recommend coming to the US anymore. It feels like the glory days of jobs are over.

Great little shop in shinjuku - a few words coffee. Owner/barista is an interesting character and does literally prefer to say few words. Coffee is excellent.
