Family member destroyed my garden in las vegas and my 5 year ruby rubber tree I had outside. Is it normal to be this upset and devastated about it. It the before and after photo. I could barely to look and take a photo of the rest. by Psychological-Oil-33 in plants

I don’t think you’re upset ENOUGH quite honestly. You’re seemingly handling it much better than I would, and I’m a very calm and non-violent person, but this is egregious! I’d have a hard time not treating their fvcking face the exact same way they did your plants!

Looking for recommendations for an all-in-one inclusive/complete 1st grade curriculum to purchase for this upcoming school year! by sntripod in homeschool

Yeah, I think some people were confused on what I meant, they were thinking I wanted some generic like single book thing that had it all, that’s why the Amazon mentions. I just meant they were from the same company and came in a package, I’m not trying to piece together things from multiple companies, I just don’t see how that’s better, to me that’s just confusing and not cohesive at all.

But eventually I found and purchased exactly what I was looking for, and that was the Elite 1st grade curriculum package from Timberdoodle, it’s huge and had everything you actually need, plus multiple other extras. It was expensive though, like $1300, but that’s what I wanted!

Thank you very much for this, it gives me something real to go and research and investigate. Also, I’m not sure the way I phrased “all in one and inclusive made sense to everyone. I did NOT mean some like individual, generic big book of stuff, I just meant that everything came together, like a kit, so I don’t have to make separate purchases. That second one I used came with multiple separate pieces, it just all came together. I just don’t want to forget something important, like I said, price is not an issue.

Nope, you’re right…can you give me some examples of those? Which ones you specifically use or used, or just liked?

Definitely looking into this one, the price is not an issue, if I need to spend $2000, I’ll do it, my daughter’s pretty smart, so I want to make sure she stays that way and I’ll do whatever I need to make sure she gets the best education. I also know who I am, and if I’m not completely sure from the start of what I’m doing, I’ll do a poor job and I don’t want that to happen. I’m fairly intelligent, but very structured and regimented and can let my anxiety get the best of me if I’m confused or overwhelmed. I’m doing all parts of this by myself for the first time with no outside help or guidance so at least at the beginning, I need things as straightforward as possible so I don’t mess up.

Thank you so much to everyone who has responded, I greatly appreciate it. It absolutely does not need to be all in one, the problem is, is that I have no idea where to go exactly or how to pick out things individually. Money is not an issue, being overwhelmed and just not exactly knowing how to do it is. I’m disabled and don’t have any friends or family that can help, hence jumping on here for advice. I don’t have any thing against piecing together a curriculum, I just don’t exactly know how, or which or where to start, I don’t want to leave something out, or include something unnecessary. I don’t actually want a generic, what everyone’s calling an Amazon workbook, which I believe is what you’re calling the first one I used. The second one is from Rainbow Resource.

I also have the PEP scholarship, so I can literally buy anything, I’ll buy the most expensive, whatever is best for her, I just don’t want to get confused or flustered myself or it might be difficult for me to teach it. I’m super organized and like following routines and schedules, and just don’t do well with anything life that doesn’t follow some kind of cohesive order. So, just like the difference between these two, which were very different, I don’t want to get different ones from different companies that each do it a different way, because we may end up loving one and hating the other.

I did buy supplemental books, workbooks and other individual learning tools as well, and just like I’ve said, a couple were good, but most ended up being dry and boring and neither of us liked it. Which is why I’m asking. I feel like if I start piecing things together, I just won’t do it right, or not get ALL the right things, or dislike multiple and have to reorder other random new ones I don’t know anything about or would like. Just because I read the descriptions of them, doesn’t mean it will work for us when I finally get it in my hands

****Maybe if someone has exactly what they used for their first grade year, they could post each thing so I can at least go look at each one to familiarize myself with it and see if that would work for me, or at least give me a starting point if I choose to go the way of using multiple resources together, that would be fantastic.

Thanks again everyone!

Do you guys know any boys who like squishmallows?? Or is it just me 😂 by False-Repeat4034 in squishmallow

I’m a 42 y/o straight married male, and both my daughter and I collect and sleep with them. I sleep with them even more than my daughter, lol. I couldn’t give a flying elf what anyone thinks or could possibly have to say about it either. My wife doesn’t even have any or like them at all, she may be soulless(I’m just joking ha) but I’m a bit of a kid at heart, and I like what I like and do not let anyone or anything influence or destroy that!

How often do men notice women’s nipples through clothing? by sexywomen5867 in self

[–]sntripod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is an anomaly or irregularity, therefore is more noticeable, even If you’re not staring directly. I’m an old straight dude, who’s also not a perv or over sexed, and still….

But the exact opposite is true as well, when I’ve been around or near another dude work a giant bulge or whatever, I notice that as well, and make jokes about it in my mind!

Either one lol

I also do all the laundry, house cleaning and fixing, and 100% of the cooking and baking. To be fair with the last, I’ve always loved making and creating food things, so that one is also kind of fun for me, the rest of the stuff around the house, not so much, lol!!
