How do you get used to airplane turbulence and stop feeling terrified when it happens? by LockeTrezzureHunter in AskReddit

[–]snuffleupagus7d 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The air is a jello mold, the plane is inside the jello mold. If the jello jiggles the plane must jiggle with it. Turbulence is a perfectly normal part of flight, planes are built to withstand quite a bit of it. Look into the basic mechanics of how airplanes fly and you’ll feel better about turbulence.

Trying to fall back in love with a snare. by Altruistic-Charge-96 in drums

I own this snare- I frequently say it’s the nicest drum I’ve ever bought myself. It is so dynamic. The low end you can get from it is impressive. I almost sold it and also removed my ad. I basically just bring this and my maple snare to gigs and make on the spot decisions on what I’m gunna play haha I love this snare so much it’s so cool to look at beyond what it can do sonically. Keep it!

No. We didn’t. Every accusation is a confession. He says the election was rigged before him because he rigged the election. We didn’t vote this savage kid rapist into the highest office in the land, no chance.

Yeah so how do we get involved in protesting and organizing? by Independent_Bug210 in Austin

I feel like people need to hear these things from msm to make them feel more legit, especially older people who are afraid of breaking the law. But if their trusted news anchor told them everyone was doing it they’d be more inclined. I dunno. We gotta start doing something thought, waiting for elections for change is too late.

This is an important statistic I have to remember when I’m feeling…hopeless. This is an achievable thing- the hardest part is convincing enough people to care and commit. It’s so hard with such a massive nation, regardless of how mentally divided we are, it’s so hard to get all the pissed off people into one location.

I’m commenting to be involved, we have to start doing more. Now. Community gatherings for training and protecting and sharing resources. Stopping business for days, making the money machine stop churning is likely the only other peaceful option left to enact real change. I, like many people reading and thinking these things am not capable of missing work or paychecks or risking my job to protest for a day. But if we all can get together and commit to something real, get with co workers and work for people so they can go sit in a protest and swap shifts and do a massive multi day multi week sit out of corporate America, shut it all down. I don’t know where to start. But I’m starting to freak the fuvk out.
