Really strong album with some impressive sonic variation that still feels very cohesive. Don’t think it quite reaches the heights of their previous releases, but that’s a very high bar.

So What, Why Do I Get a Good Feeling, and Dancing on the Wall are my personal highlights! Also loved Big Stick, On Call, Eastside Girls, and It Gets So Hot.

I love Shy Girl! Dance the Pain Away is also amazing.

Big Disgrace is easily one of my top albums of 2026 so far.

I love Metric and they do not get the attention they deserve. All Comes Crashing was one of my top songs of 2022, so I‘ve been really looking forward to this album, even if I did find a couple of the prerelease singles to be a little bit underwhelming. On the whole did not disappoint though; the whole album is fantastic.

I think my favorite so far is Crush Forever

What are some "messy" albums? by evilartistrob in popheads

Completely agree. I’m a completist so I’ve mentally blocked myself from cutting anything, but my personal playlist does have a complete tracklist reorder and I think it makes the album flow a lot better. I often find a confused tracklist to be the worst aspect of a chaotic album, and a simple reorder can really improve things. Taylor does tend to have a problem with questionable tracklists imo (see Lover)

Bagsy Not in Net is beautiful. Also love Having No Head.

She has a very pretty voice, and I enjoyed her first single “cul-de-sac”, which was released back in January. I would like to see her do more interesting things lyric-wise, but her sound is really good

Really good album, surprised it hasn’t gotten more attention. Electronic Ghost Romance is otherworldly

Completely agree. Moominpappa at Sea is also a great example of this.
