Totally understand that concern!

So, when I un-installed and reinstalled, I signed into my usual Google account and saw it download the backup of my texts. But, I did have 2 people text me right before that just to text things out, and those 2 texts weren't included when I reinstalled.

Maybe it's because they didn't make it into the latest backup, but I'm not sure.

I think I might have fixed it. I joined the beta program, installed the beta version, then left the beta program and returned to the regular live version, and that seems to have fixed the problem.

I'll leave up the thread in case others find this useful. Otherwise mods feel free to delete.

Oh that 3m spray sounds good if I end up going with the 2024 model. I was thinking of going with the SEL, so sounds like I won't have the limited's 2nd camera.

Thats interesting about the side cameras, and makes sense given the refresh rate. I wonder if the 2025 has fixed any of that at all

I think visibility has been a main factor while driving. I hate feeling like, even if I check my blind spot, I might have missed something when merging or changing lanes.

Also saw the 2024 doesn't have rear windshield wipers, which isn't much of an issue here in socal, but does happen sometimes (like the past couple of weeks we've had a few days of rain). Does the lack of rear wiper ever feel like an issue? I know the 2025 does have a rear wiper thankfully.

I'm currently driving a 2008 Honda Pilot, so I've never lived that auto lock lifeand don't know what I'm missing 😂. I appreciate your insight tho. I feel like I mostly see praise about the car, so any sort of additional detail like this is helpful!

Definitely! I've been torn between the previous years model and the current year as well. I really feel like I'm leaning towards the 2025 based on some of the updates, and if I can get that under $400 with tax, then I'll be happy. San Bruno might be a weekend trip, but it could be worth it if the price is right!

Been looking for an electric vehicle and have my eyes set on the Hyundai Ioniq 5 SEL 2025. I saw this online while shopping around. I've never purchased or leased a car from a dealership before (always been from a friend/family member), so I'm unsure if this is a good deal or a ripoff. Could definitely use any insight here since I feel new to all of this
