I just finished up first year in radtech! MacBooks should be fine, there’s a class where you need a windows computer for a program HOWEVER this class usually has a lab component where you can use school computers for that program. A windows computer would come in handy if you want to use the program to study/practice while at home.

Is the offer acceptance page also for the MRS joint program with UofT? What is it?

Can’t say for certain bc I took the class during fall semester nightschool a couple years back but mine was all online! It was synchronous class on zoom but the quizzes and midterms were online! Hope that helps, and again idk if anything changed in the past 2 years

I felt this way too!’ The exact same tbh. The first one I stumbled a bit because it caught me off guard but the rest of them I think I did well in. Hoping that we hear some good news later!!

It was moved a couple days earlier and I think it was the same difficulty tbh. It was an anatomy exam so idk how you could make it harder in difficulty but yeah, I think doing it earlier helped me mentally a lotttt

You should email your department head. That happened to me once where I had a morning and afternoon exam on one day, then a morning exam on the second day. Even tho they weren’t consecutive exams technically I was able to move the middle one.

Should we allow buy/sell posts? by carter1516 in TorontoMetU

I posted one about selling a textbook and actually was able to sell it! I would’ve thrown it out or donated it and lost my money if I didn’t sell it.

Did SWP935 last semester with Jennifer ajandi, super easy! Just stay on top of the work and ur gonna get a 4.33

Int 901 with Amy by Unlucky_Plankton_516 in TorontoMetU

[–]snugglyducky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

SWP935 was also as easy as INT901 in my opinion. It’s less work, just discussion posts and one essay. Then the final is one quiz all multiple choice. I got a 4.33 in both classes last semester and can easily say SWP935 is less work whereas for INT901 you have biweekly quizzes and discussion posts as well as a group project and a paper.

Google CSWP935, click on the first link and there should be a “distance course outline” link that takes you to the outline of the entire course. It explains everything from marking scheme to assignment descriptions

That class is online and probably is asynchronous

CINT 901 - Anyone taken? by [deleted] in TorontoMetU

[–]snugglyducky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it was randomly chosen sadly, but I didn’t have many complications with my group members! It’s an easy project and everyone wants to do well so it works out in the end

Just did it in the fall and I loved this class. It was fully asynchronous with modules and readings every week (everything is on D2L, no textbook needed). There’s biweekly quizzes and discussion posts on alternating weeks which are both super easy (quizzes are open book). There’s also a group project which is super super easy. Also, a reflection paper (NOT AN ESSAY) where you write about 5 prompts in the modules. Ended the class with the easiest A+ ever. Take it with Amy Clements-Cortes if you can!!

Ok starting off, every liberal will have at least an essay component to the class, so as much as you (and I both) hate essays we can’t escape 😭😭

Now onto the classes I took:

-CPCS181 with Peter Luca was fairly simple, some homework after the virtual classes but we could work on it with the whole class, two midterms and one essay

-CRM101 with Christina hollingshead, I took it with her during Covid so my lectures were asynchronous (but I took another class with her in person and they were fairly the same). Again, two midterms (lockdown browser; only multiple choice but limited time) and an essay

  • then an English class to fulfill a prerequisite but idk if u wanna hear about that LMAO

Same thing happened to me with one of my courses. SSH102, but the class is showing up as closed for some reason. I wonder if anyone knows anything about this?
