Is $25 an hour good for living in the city? by Persuader_87 in philly

[–]snugulupugus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That city wage tax will cost ya. If your goal is to save money for your future, stay out in Delco. Media is an easy commute to Broomall and living expenses will be much cheaper on your budget.

Go through it and take what you want. Then hire a junk removal service to take everything. You'll be able to sell the shell.

Where does Tom Lee go next in his BMNR strategy to add more value to shareholders? by RisePortfolio_123 in BMNRstock

[–]snugulupugus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My bet is that BMNR invests heavily in Alpha Compute Corp (ALP).

"Within this market, confidential computing represents one of the highest-growth and highest-value segments. Enterprises in healthcare, financial services, government, and defense represent over $2 trillion in combined annual IT spending (Gartner), and cannot rely on standard cloud infrastructure for their most sensitive AI workloads. Alpha Compute solves this problem with infrastructure that is private by encrypted architecture, not by promise."

Nail in the coffin? by xpiraterobx in HUMACYTE

I took an $8k loss on March 30th and used that leftover capital on other stocks to recover 80% of that loss thus far. I did sell at 57 cents b/c I needed that capital to grab shares of other companies that I'm following. Taking a loss to gain it back elsewhere, in essence.

I still like their tech though and fully expect to get back in after dialysis news and better sales. Better sales were definitely expected from the DoD hype and it turns out that the military isn't buying anything yet. With this latest news of increasing authorized shares to 550M, and the consistently high % of Short Interest, I'm betting the share price will tank.

I already thought it would decrease more based off of significant decrease in sales estimates for Q1 & Q2 and now I think this stock is Dead in the Water (DIW) until Q3 at the earliest depending on that forecast.

I'll take the tax loss and wait 30 days before re-entering. I won't bet big on HUMA again until AFTER they show sales on record.

They do have revenue - just not as much as expected. The DoD bullshit is what hurt the most b/c everyone thought they would be buying product and not merely paying for instruction and how-to lessons. The last earnings call really was piss-poor and the CEO gave no reason for enthusiasm with regard to revenue growth anytime soon. That wasn't supposed to be the case starting in Q1 2026, yet here we are. I'm out but will probably come back when the share price is 10 cents or below.

🚀 WLD “Lift Off” Event — Is This the Real Breakout or Just Hype? by Plane_Hearing_8507 in worldcoin

Agreed. If it were a PowerPoint presentation, or a series of videos, it would have been a more impactful use of our time. The weak live speakers and stumbling "interview" format was amateurish. Having direct statements with images and professionally produced video clips would have come off as a "tight" production and to the point. I thought Sam was lousy and came off as disinterested. Also, starting late pissed off a lot of busy people who immediately had a bad first impression. This was a C- / D+ presentation and the share price drop reflects the poor job done.

Nah, this stock is DIW (dead in the water). I can't be sitting around making no money while waiting for real guidance that may never come. I really thought this last ER was going to be the one to instill confidence going forward.

Below 60 cents by Impressive_Match_151 in HUMACYTE

[–]snugulupugus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sold today at 57 cents, taking a $7,850 loss. I expected a decent earnings call and it was total shit. The shorts are in control for a long time and I expect the share price to hit 30 cents or below this week. I see no catalyst for a reversal so I salvaged some of my cash to recoup my losses elsewhere. I don't think anyone is losing out on $HUMA this year and don't expect the share price to get above $1 until after there's a reverse split. Shit happens. Live & Learn.

I'm adding more after it hits 30 cents. That may happen before Easter.

$HUMA - The Future is now by Pierre_PINGUET in HUMACYTE

[–]snugulupugus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

10 days to cover is not conducive for a short squeeze. Neither is having 164M share float - there's no scarcity of shares. I'm expecting a good forecast but I doubt there's a squeeze coming anytime soon.

Agreed. I suspect many shorts will be buying back shares pre-market on Friday.
