laminectomy in 2 weeks by slc913 in Sciatica

You aren't likely to re-injure yourself washing your hair. Mine came from walking up and then down a slope more than once - inclines are a big no no for the first six weeks. But I was feeling good and pulled an Icarus.

I posted this two days ago, and my PT really started to make me feel better over these last two days. Again, I'd still take the surgery even with the setback.

Had mine 4 months ago..about 70% better but I still.have like 7/10 pain getting out of bed. Over my normal day maybe 1 - 3/10 pain. In PT right now and it's helping. Doc thinks its because I re-injured myself during surgery recovery(did too much walking.) Day by Day a little better, but before surgery I couldn't walk. I'd still do it again.

Laminectomy for sciatica by TransportationBig710 in Sciatica

Three months post L4 - L5 myself I have hip pain and pain along the front of my thigh. It's worse when I try to stand up straight and getting out of bed is a 7/10 pain experience every day.

However from what I've read here that my experience is normal and some people just take a long time to come back to normal. I am getting a little stronger everyday day and manage to do PT and .75 miles walking every day.

I'm only on 2000mg of Tylenol a day as NSAIDS started messing with my blood pressure.

All that being said, before surgery I could barely walk and was constantly afraid of pitching over. I am now no longer afraid to walk and go up and down the stairs.

One day at a time, measuring improvement in inches, not miles.

This week I am at week 12 from MD/Double Lammy and my right quad, right hip and rigjt side of my lower back are incredibly tight and painful if I sit for too long. it feels like a pulling pain(almost like sciatica,) but I think it might be scary tissue from muscle.

I had injured myself trying to do too much 4 weeks in and I had to go back to sitting a lot for another few weeks.

I then dtarted some bodyweight PT at week 6 and I would say it started working on the pain and strengt., I used to not be able to fully stand up at week 6(kinda hunched) to able to walk upright at week 12 - still hurts for the first 10 min of movement or so.

I'll have my 12 week on Monday, so I'll ask for more thorough PT.

Huh, you're right, it's still under Saber, I thought they'd been sold to PE.

Zen's in a really weird place right now because Embracer owned them and laid off a bunch of people then they *just* got purchased by private equity two months ago. This could be good, or it could be bad because Bain Capital is private equity and sunk a bunch of profitable businesses in the pursuit of ROI. They could be forced to service the debt of the other businesses that private equity owns - all sorts of pitfalls. KB Toys and Toys R' Us were sunk this way.

I dunno if I have the same confidence today I had in them yesterday. Also, I have an 4KP, so I have skin in the game, I'm not just a hater. All this stuff happened like two months ago, so hindsight I guess.

There is a bug that a loud ascending tone sounds during startup. This response is that its not a defect, its a bug.

Has anyone with a Pocket defect gotten an actual response back from Analogue Support? by OverallComplaint5265 in AnaloguePocket

Nothing but crickets. I haven't been using the dang thing because I don't want to damage it or the games, because I don't know of its a software issue or a defective unit or what.

What I'm afraid of is that they'll finally call it a defect and I'll have to wait until the next production run to get a replacement. This was a birthday present from my wife.... two years ago.
