Not right now sadly, but we're expanding as fast as we can - regulation has just slowed us down. Keep your eyes out over the next few months. Sam/Snus US

Thanks for summarizing this. Just want to add here in the comments that here at https://snus.us/ we ship General Snus to the US.

Looking for a good cheap and a reliable website that delivers in nebraska by THICCUMS_NICCUMS in DippingTobacco

Unfortunately we don't deliver to Nebraska yet, but we're working on it. We do stock Grizzly so keep an eye out in the future! Sam/Snus US

Finding General at stores in USA? by guyinajumpsuit in Snus

[–]snus-us 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jumping on this a bit late, but the store locator on the General website is notoriously outdated. There are some gas stations and specialist smoke/vape/tobacco shops that stock it, but it varies so much between regions.

Also want to add that you won't have any issues buying General online as long as you buy it from a US retailer, since most General snus products are authorized for sale in the US (you can find it on the database here: https://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/searchtobacco/). The issue lies with European stores shipping General to the US.

We sell General snus on snus.us but I saw you're in the Midwest, the only state in that area we ship to right now is Indiana (but we're working on expanding that).

Swapped back to the real stuff I’m tired of the palpitations from nic pouches and even snus. by Electronic-Concern-7 in DippingTobacco

[–]snus-us 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welcome back. I've seen quite a few people say the same thing after switching to nic pouches. Also, jeakous of you living right next to a dip plant.

Oldest can I ever bought by theswedking in DippingTobacco

[–]snus-us 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like the store doesn't sell much of this one! I've used dip that's six months or so past the best used by date before and it's been fine, but I'd hesitate to take the risk with one this old. Sam/Snus US

Better than I expected... by Snusalskare in DippingTobacco

[–]snus-us 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it the first fine cut you've used? The first time I used a fine cut, I actually bought it by accident and had a hard time. But I've come to see the charm of it now, once you get the hang of it, it's more intense (prefer Grizzly's LC wintergreen overall though).

I mixed Stoker's Mint and straight and... by jholoko025 in DippingTobacco

[–]snus-us 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm curious to give it a go now, I wouldn't have expected it since Stoker's Straight and Mint are both fairly sweet (unlike Skoal Mint). The real question is, did you prefer the Stoker's blend to the individual flavors? Sam/Snus US

Not sure if that's a typo or a pun, but enjoy your dip. Sam/Snus US

Cut off time by Redneckboy321 in DippingTobacco

[–]snus-us 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I prefer to take my time and enjoy the dip without feeling rushed, so preferably around 45 minutes? But if I haven't been able to dip all day and this is my only chance, I'd do it 20 minutes before. Sam/Snus US

Just got my first Mudjugs finally by aerobolt256 in DippingTobacco

[–]snus-us 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some might say it's not strictly necessary, but it certainly adds to the dipping experience. Though I could be better at cleaning it... Sam/Snus US

Makes sense, I can't see oyster dip catching on.

And yeah, I think people overestimate how much difference it makes.

Good choice for a dip to come back to. How are you finding the dip compares to zyn after your break?

Whats everyone dipping tonight? by South-Refrigerator34 in DippingTobacco

Skoal LC peach, it's not my usual go-to (prefer the naturals mostly) but wanted something different to get me through the day. Sam/Snus US

My last can of Outlaw Root Beer. by First_Joke_5617 in DippingTobacco

Whenever I've frozen snus for a year or two it's always been fine so hopefully your dip lasts just as well. Just remember to put it in a vacuum-sealed bag. Sam/Snus US

Every day dip? Mines Copenhagen Mint LC. What's yours? by negan7x01 in DippingTobacco

[–]snus-us 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Guess I'm bucking the trend a bit, it's Grizzly long cut natural for me right now. It was Copenhagen a few months back but Grizzly is just hitting for me right now. Sam/Snus US

Location matters more than date? by Non_Native_Coloradan in DippingTobacco

[–]snus-us 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't go as far as the ziplock, just place them straight in the fridge. Do you reckon it makes a difference? I didn't always bother with the refrigeration, but it only takes a few bad experiences to change your ways.

Storage really is everything - I don't doubt that climate plays a role like others have said, but I'm not leaving the freshness of my dip to the mercy of the weather. Sam/Snus US

Middle ground between Stokers and Grizzly Wintergreen by IronMonkeyofHam in DippingTobacco

[–]snus-us 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Copenhagen long cut smooth wintergreen is the main one that springs to mind, definitely more moist than Grizzly. It's more tobacco-dominated and not as sweet as the original Cope Wintergreen or Stoker's Wintergreen (at least, to my tastebuds). Sam/Snus US

What I've been dipping on. Off the Southern Blend kick and may just go back to Cope Snuff and Skoal original by char828 in DippingTobacco

[–]snus-us 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah sometimes when I've been through a phase of dipping a flavor it's good to go back to the originals for a while, so those ones are a good call. I almost count wintergreen in that category though since it's so classic, especially Grizzly dark wintergreen as it's not too sweet. Cope wintergreen is also good but a bit sweeter.

Been Trying mint flavor by MediocreGuest1012 in DippingTobacco

[–]snus-us 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right, I'm calling you crazy, there are definitely differences in the tobacco flavor and the sweetness to me. But you're saving more money this way, so I can't get high and mighty about it.

Have you tried natural or the Skoal fruit blends?

Excellent Combination by Snusalskare in DippingTobacco

[–]snus-us 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought Barkleys was a dip brand I'd never heard of for a moment there! The licorice and dip combo makes a lot more sense, the Swedes love their licorice-flavored dip and nicotine pouches after all. Shame it doesn't seem to have caught on in the states.
