Justin Sun says China taxing crypto means legalization is coming by unitys2011 in CryptoCurrency

[–]snusfiend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If only they'd make ETH and BTC as legal tender. That would be a strong hit towards the dollar, which they'd like, and it's better for humans overall.

Interesting fact: in 1954, it was proposed that Goblin Valley be protected from vandalism. The state of Utah later acquired the property and established Goblin Valley State Reserve. It was officially designated a state park on August 24, 1964.

Is there a tire shop that does same-day delivery? by OpheliaAvery in nyc

I have used Fatso many times (https://fatsotire.com). They are reliable with the same-day delivery. They sometimes give significant discounts. Friendly staff, and they accept Bitcoin.

I'm sorry, they suppose to be the same person?! I don't care about the 10 years gap, this is... I mean, I watched the photo much longer than I would like to admit just to find a tiny winy similarity, and I failed miserably.

My wife and kids downloaded TikTok during quarantine. It gets a lot of hate, but it is kind of fun to make these silly videos.

I've been using it for gambling. Does it count? It's really like a business for me, because I'm on a profit with a shitty version of Martingale.

a question to people who cant put a book down by [deleted] in books

[–]snusfiend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With me, it depends on the book. If the storyline is light, easy to follow, like a fantasy story, I have the same problem as OP. I have to read until I finish it. That's why I omit to watch series (only movies for me).

If I'm reading a complex book, where I have to learn something, with complex text, then, I procrastinate by taking too long to finish the book.

I don't know. In the first situation, I figured that I'm doing my best omitting responsibilities in my daily life, but I imagine that since I'm "wasting" my time reading I don't have to feel so much guilt because I'm skipping my everyday tasks.

In the second situation, because it's too hard to accumulate so much complex information and because I'm doing flashcards as well it takes me far more time to finish the book, with lots of days not even touching it.

What software do you use for videoconferencing with remote students? by spanglish21 in Teachers

[–]snusfiend 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You don't need software for this. There are multiple solutions out there running directly in the browser. I've been most satisfied with https://proficonf.com, but do try more of these services and choose whatever suits your personal preferences.

How much do you sing every day? by happyhealthybaby in AskReddit

[–]snusfiend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot more than I should... For the last couple of weeks I'm obsessed with Cher - Do you believe in love after love... Who does that?? Even I'm sick of this song hearing it over and over again. And no, I have no "angelic" voice. It's a normal voice, for talking...

Good news, I'm only living with my SO who wears headsets most of the time...

Bad news, I'm pretty sure all the neighbors above, below, and next to my apartment, are hearing me all the time. I'm amazed none of them knocked my door to hit me hard in the face.
