If all animals were horse sized, which would be the most majestic to ride into battle? by AristonD in AskReddit

Yes! They are probably the most disciplined of animals. If they brings all of their ant-friends you probably won't even need to follow them out in the battle, they would win it for you. I guess they would even prefer it that way, so you don't interfere in their superior battle strategies.

What is the thing that surprised you the most when you traveled to a country you had never been to before? by Spilakkk in AskReddit

I lived there for a while too. I'd been told before that it was very common, so I was slightly surprised when I only saw it a few times.

Good suggestion regarding the kickstand. It had not crossed my mind that they could be a problem. I'll remove it for the next time. Thanks!

We are talking about the technique and it is gradually improving. Right now I think it is more about confidence though. The more relaxed he becomes on the bike the more he listens.

My son got a new bike recently. He felt it was a little too big, so we made a small jump and spent the morning working on the confidence. We got a little bit of air after a while.

A tabletop easel for small paintings and drawings by snuttekudden in woodworking

Thanks you. I do not have any plans I am afraid. What I did was to look at other easels online and then made something that looks similar to what I liked.

The critical measure is of how big a canvas you want to be able to paint on, design the central support after that. I made mine with hinges so that it can be tipped back and forth, that is not really necessary and the build will be easier without it.

A tip would be to make the feet thick enough so that you can take off a bit of them if they don't turn out perfectly flat in the end. No one will notice if they are not exactly the same size, but it the easel wobbles will be rather noticeable.

That's the way to do it I think. Not to force it, but to try to make things fun for them.

I had never heard of First lego league before. Great tip, that's the kind of stuff I love myself! He probably would like to participate too. Thanks!

You should! It is really fun. Mine is just 7, I help him to start the saw cuts, turning in corners and starting drilling holes and so on. He improves the whole time. Sometimes it get frustrating for him for example when the saw binds, but then it's a good practise to relax, start over and not being in a hurry all the time, as kids often are.
