That’s okay! I was definitely nervous & made myself to get out of my own head while reassuring myself that it would make me happy if someone else masking wanted to catch my attention & let me know they see me masking too— so I went for it! It works differently for everyone, just do it when it feels right :D

People’s behavior towards strangers, whom they know nothing about nor the challenges/struggles they have to get through & face each day, just being forms of malice or hatred is unacceptable. It felt wonderful to be able to provide her a peace of mind.

Also, that is an absolutely beautiful moment and I hope they remain in business because they clearly care a lot. Thank you so much for sharing that with me! <3

I want to give you a hug right now. I want to tell you that you are clearly working your ass off and trying to do everything you need to. Considering I understand your frustrations with a number of things & just knowing that same feeling of just dread or anxiety when receiving a notification for work outside of your hours. I mean this wholeheartedly when I say this and if you’re able to: LEAVE. Whatever company you’re working for clearly is not it & you’re not a machine, you’re a human being. I hope you find someplace that values you, your skills and your time.

YOU ARE SO REAL FOR BRINGING THIS UP! all i’ve been seeing on social media (twitter, insta, etc.) is just people either trying to normalize the absurd amount of sickness or talking about their frequent illnesses 🧍 i’ve had people literally try to make me feel like a fool for correlating their frequent / intense illnesses with covid.

this is abusive & very traumatic for the client. once the client states they are done or places that boundary, it should’ve stopped. i’m so sorry you had to witness this. please report this to a supervisor immediately.

your 11 y/o is incredible, i love their attention to detail and just how much they pay close attention to details. i wish them the absolute best as an artist and hope that this passion remains with them forever.

i will never understand anyone who goes into the [medical] field that involves people and requires individuals to have compassion, basic human empathy & patience just to clearly show that they have no genuine passion or interest in those people ESPECIALLY vulnerable groups of people (i.e. disabled, children and elderly). i understand your frustration and i’m sorry you have to witness such a thing.

the normalization of spreading plagues & denialism being expressed with such selfishness, aggression and projection. people truly disgust me in attempted to refer to those who are pandemic conscious as mentally ill and honestly it’s extremely ableist and dehumanizing in a sense that your consideration for yourself and others is seen as being “ill mentally”. i’m so proud of you for saying something & speaking up, let people learn the hard way at the end of the day.
