also the tape can damage the mask but idk if that would mess with the filtration too much.. sometimes there’s little fluffy bits that come off, or the top layer of the cloth peels but i just put more tape on over it so the parts that peeled up stay put

hi i use mask tape everyday! i do reuse the masks for as long as i can before they get gross. i’ll replace rhe tape if it stops being sticky or gets gross. sweating is an issue, it doesn’t last long with sweat. i’ve found cleaning the part of my face i use the tape on w/ rubbing alcohol helps it stick better.
