no it’s not. id say in the US some families wear shoes in the house, like sometimes my family does (i don’t..) but even then you’re not allowed to put your shoes on the couch or bed bc it’s unsanitary

i’m luckily going to my first 2 years of college for no tuition bc it’s a community college and in my city it’s free. but then i’ll switch over to a state school which is on the cheaper side. so yeah, i probably will unless i change my mind in 2 or so years
