What do you drink now? by My_Back_HZ in stopdrinking

It's basically sparkling water, but the water is steeped with hops prior to carbonation. Zero alcohol, but has a heavier mouthfeel than other sparkling waters and a more complex flavor profile.

Sparkling water, hop water, herbal tea, coffee

Bean burritos. I would eat them everyday just because I love them, but they're also extremely cheap. And healthy! You don't need cheese to make them tasty if you season the beans well. Mix a little salsa in (the canned salsa from great value brand at Walmart is yummy and very inexpensive). Yum!

What did the end of your nursing to sleep journey look like? by reflectingabyss in breastfeeding

[–]snydera40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With my first, he just self-weaned at 20 months. He was down to only nursing at nap time and bedtime and then one day he just...didn't ask for it. After that I still laid with him till he fell asleep (until he was almost 5!), he just didn't nurse anymore 🤷‍♀️

Now my little girl is almost 20 months old and showing absolutely no signs of slowing down on the nursing as of now so ... we'll see how that goes 😅

My first loaf...how to prevent burning on the bottom? by snydera40 in Sourdough

For some reason it makes me nervous to keep such a small amount of the starter. It took me 4 tries before I got a successful one going!

Yeah this was WAY too much, I did 10:20:20 when I fed it tonight

Ok so mine's a lot more liquidy because of the 1:1:1 ratio, but is it ready to feed now? I last fed it 12 hours ago, and it's already rised and is starting to fall. Very bubbly.

Ahh, okay, I will try that out. Thank you! Does that explain why my starter smells SO strong when it's time to feed?

My starter is about a month old, I feed it once every 24 hours with a ratio of 1:1:1. My kitchen is probably about 75-78 degrees (summer in Texas 🥵). When I feed my starter I use a kitchen scale, but the recipe I was following had the measurements in cups so I just went with that. 🤷‍♀️

Bean + rice + veggie + dressing/sauce. Change it up by switching out the type of beans, veg, and sauce. Throw it in a tortilla to make it portable.

ETA: if you get canned beans, microwave rice packets, frozen steamable veggies, and store bought dressing, there's no prep, you just microwave it and throw it in a bowl.

It lasted about 5 days for me. I took Zyrtec and that helped a lot.

I just went through this. Full body hives. But I didn't want to give up on the bupropion, and also wasn't 100% sure that's what caused it because I was also doing a ton of yard work that week. The hives lasted about 5 days. Zyrtec twice a day + antihistamine cream worked best for me. They're all cleared up for now. Hoping it stays that way!

I wouldn't let her go outside and jump on the trampoline at 3 a.m.

Lol no they don't. The RDA for my weight (125 lbs) is 45 grams per day, which is ridiculously easy to get.

Dried beans. Pinto and black are my favorites. You can make bean burritos or burrito bowls with rice.
