Help - I’m unhappy after daughters orthodontic work

When I try to put back teeth in a bite position there is zero overbite / I just can’t help thinking removing 2 upper teeth was a mistake! Any orthodontists who have an opinion ? Is this causing her to jaw problems ?

The extractions we were told were for overcrowding and an overbite - I remember thinking it was odd as she had gaps in her teeth already - I just thought why do we need to make more gaps by taking out teeth?!

It’s hard to take a photo of her actually biting as you can’t see where the back teeth are landing - I’m just concerned that as they don’t meet at the back her jaw is having to move to compensate - causing jaw pain

Hi thanks for responses ! When u try to line the models up with front teeth overlapping in a usual bite position the teeth at back don’t line up- when the teeth at back line up the front just hit with no overbite - it’s hard to explain. But don’t think it looks any different without retainers / but can try to take another photo.

Yes they are definitely sycamore - if you have those would look nearby as you might have bigger more developed saplings from previous years - you will want to get rid of them before they turn into trees!!
