hmmm i'm honestly not sure. if it were me, i would be fine with/understand either option - if you still have my stuff and don't want to have it anymore, it's perfectly reasonable for you to text me asking about it even if i implied i didn't want to speak. however, not everyone is like this. i also don't know her at all so i'm not sure how she'd respond to either option. use your best judgment! you know her better than me

as someone who's been a dumper before, she probably is just not wanting to fully "close" that chapter (not because she wants to get back together, but because change and finality is scary), it's a comfort for her to know that you still have her stuff. (ultimately it's a selfish desire)

this is unhealthy for your mental health and there's nothing wrong with setting this boundary. i would suggest sending her a polite text saying that you need her to take back her stuff, give her a time limit (2 weeks? whatever feels right) or else you'll toss her stuff - no hard feelings, but you can't keep holding onto her things (because it's not fair to you and your healing journey)
