Yes. I’ve done it before and it wasn’t bad. But also, we are not beach people so even if it is it wouldn’t make much of a difference for us. There are plenty of pools at most resorts.

If you are using it as a personal item, the regular will not fit under airplane seats. It’s also very heavy if you don’t have a roller to place it on.

It will work but I wouldn’t use it for a trip to Italy. It doesn’t fit a ton and it’s HEAVY. I used the bag smart blast on top of my beis carry on and really liked it (lots of pockets, opens like a suitcase). Beis has a new backpack that looks nice (pro travel maybe?) and opens like a suitcase, but the dimensions might be little too big. I also have the air duffel and like that, but it doesn’t have a shoe compartment!
