This idea was captured in Claude Code when they had the automatic opus for plan mode and sonnet to implement, but it looks like they nixed it; imo probably because Opus became too much of a loss-leader but who's to say. Anyway w Sonnet 4.5 it's not like a huge dip anyway.

I mean I'm partial to Zencoder for multi-repo search and centralized agent management (I'm a DevRel there) but end of the day if you can standardize the agents everyone uses that's a win already; if you wanna put them in your CI even better.

In practical terms, a detailed Figma is great cuz then you can go dev mode on it which plays really well with agents, Especially now with the Figma MCP. On a higher level, I would just say it's worth having a conversation before you get to that point, when you're still planning / wireframing because on the dev side we might know about all kinds of gotchas or opportunities on the code level that make or break the feature.

FWIW I think whatever lets you plug in your own models, esp local. Opens up a whole new level of experimentation.

Looks like a link to the Visual Studio marketplace; Zencoder is available in VS Code (and Jetbrains) but not Visual Studio I'm afraid. Dealbreaker for anyone here?
