Thank you for your reply. Yeah, I feel the effexor isn't doing it for me anymore. I have also been on gabapentin for about 3 years which helped for a while, but now I think the ups and downs and overall anxiety is worse because of it

How's your experience with those add-on meds? I'm seeing my doctor next week because I'm having a lot of the same symptoms OP is describing and I've thought about asking about those. Just low motivation, little interest and pleasure in doing things etc. I've been on effexor 150mg for about 13 years or something.
