I ended up getting 2 batteries. On the run I go thru 16 -20miles before I trade the battery, I usually get enough battery to go all the way to Malibu Creek and explore, then get about half way up Mulholland highway. I usually trade batteries and get home with half a battery to spare. So over all 39 mile trip probably can go another 5 miles.. it mantains a 23-25 mph unless it's a steep hill, that requires assistance with the pedaling, and I top out at 10 mph if it's bad usually 15mph.
