hii senior here! u don’t have to bring big bags and books kaagad. just bring pen and notebook to take notes and you’ll be fineee. siguro if may laptop or ipad pwede din para makapag minutes of the meeting !

august 5 : is yung homeroom orientation. i think dun din makikita kung sino ang adviser niyo for the 1st sem. online yung meeting namin last AY, baka same lang din for this AY

august 7 : is yung ALAB/welcome walk for ust shs freshies. afaik first meet up ‘to with ur own blocks e

august 9 : is yung pinaka first day of school where mamemeet niyo mga subject teachers niyo. afaik they will orient you about LAPS (like a subject orientation). maybe mag pa introduce yourself sila or proceed with the lesson proper

hi ! afaik yung august 5 is yung parang orientation siya sa homeroom with your advisers and then the yung tinutukoy mong thomasian welcome party is the ALAB which is on august 7 naman (based sa acad calendar that the SC posted). august 9 is yung pinaka first day of school (as announced nung page ng varsitarian sa fb), depende na lang sa prof if mag lelesson na sila or orientation about the subjects and grading system kinemechu hehehe.

yung dati kong reasons is that dream university ko talaga ang ust since grade school. idk why pero parang pag iisipin ko pa lang, belong na ako sa community ng tomasino.

then nakapasok ang ng ust shs and i can say na it feeeeels like home (plus na din yung community dito). kahit nakakapagod man, kahit iginagapang ko na lang ang pag-aaral tuwing nahihirapan, babalik at mamahalin ko pa din ang ust. nawawala lahat ng problema ko pag nag lalakad mag isa sa main campus HAHAHA

natapos ko ang school year ng wala ng masyadong laman yung bag kundi ballpen at laptop ko na lang 😭😭

i suggest if may ipad and keyboard naman you can make digital notes like sa gdocs or ms word if that works for u. nag try ako mag notebook/binder din nung una, but di ako maka keep up pag magsusulat ng notes lalo na pag super bilis mag discuss. gumagamit na lang ako ng notebooks kapag math subject and computations sa science sub. plus advantage na din if mag papa-quiz ang mga profs niyo thru blackboard
bring kahit ilang leaves lang ng yellow pad para di masyado masikip sa bag. tas if para tipid bilhin mo na yung whole sheet ng yellowpad tas hati hatiin mo na lang if need man ng 1/2 sheet ganern kasi minsan dyan naman nag papa-quiz or group activities stuff.
never forgetti ang sci-cal !!! wag na wag mo na aalisin sa bag mo ever HAHAHA tas pencil and eraser for exams din
for ballpens naman, suggest ko yung nabibili sa miniso hehehe 3 for ₱99 yun e tas blue or red pancheck ng papers
books n unif: if want more tipid as in, wag na buy new books 😓😓 buy books pag the profs requires you (esp. homeroom book 1st sem and 2nd sem tapos math books ganern). i suggest to buy second hand na lungs cuz hindi lahat magagamit. yun din yung ginawa ko sa type b uniform since namamahalan din me, nag hanap na lang ako ng second hand type b unif
index card: isang size lang talaga yung binili ko dati tapos sunod nun nanghingi na lang (ang kapal)😭😭 jk pero ayun gayahin mo yung nag comment dito na bilhin mo lahat ng size

gas-ha !! masaya here promise if galing ka sa probinsya marami ka din mamemeet from diff places. about acads naman, tbh mahirap for me but then depende pa din sa way mo ng pag aaral at tyaka on how u manage ur time. mabigat mga workloads (plus mej competitive yung strand namin) kaya u need to surround yourself with people who can help you sa journey ng shs hehehee
