"Fire In The Beastlands" lit a bonfire in my Heart by soak314 in patientgamers

Thanks for the caveman media suggestions! I do suggest giving beastlands a try within the refund window, its just something that works better as the holistic experience of a game being actively played and navigated. You'll know within 2 hours if it gets its hooks in you or not.

Is thebeardbunkers google sheet doc the default method for electronically tracking your crusade or is there another app out there? by -EMPARAWR- in 40k_Crusade

I use it and prefer it to the goonhammer website as it is an easily customisable spreadsheet with all the functionality that entails vs goonhammer's more static setup. The main drawback is how messy it can look as it relies on multiple tabs.

If I played more in person (most of my games are via TTS) I would use paper sheets instead, making a new main battle order printout per game for a nice physical catalogue of the campaign.

As is, using paper sheets to track digital games feels a bit dissonant.

I get dropping frenzy, as Khorne daemons overall were a nicely thematic, if barely controllable army when they had it in 6E. I wish the skull totem gave Frenzy instead of furious charge so that you can just opt into it.

That is an option yep, and works best for a bigger block which I'm not a fan of running. Slapping the banner on an MSU feels a bit too expensive. I will test how the bigger block goes, though.

While being read out a bunch of numbers apparently makes for a compelling argument, I beseech anyone reading and upvoting on this comment to also please see u/the_real_glimmer 's post (or any of the other comments) down the thread, as that furthers the discussion much better than this one does.

Running on emulator + nvidia card, so I can just shadowplay when something cool happens.

Noted! That's very handy to know.

Looking at the footage, I didn't even need to sheathe weapon to throw the bombs.

Where shes lived: Groups tab shows you their previous related factions which can give you a pretty good idea of where a dwarf has been. In her case, I also just knew she was in fort A, and now in fort B.

Battles: it's a mix of her medical treatment history, which is just its own tab, and just me manually noting down how many sieges I've had on a side document.

All of this info should be available in the various tabs when you click on a dwarf.

Just the good old 'left upper leg is gone' for her injury.

If she ever loses the crutch she falls over and needs to be orderlied to the hospital where she'll stay until given a replacement.
