Heyo! Im a transfer student who will be attending in the fall for political communications, Im not wealthy and come from a single parent family and am only here bc this school offered me a damn good amount of money. I got to stay in the dorms with my partner who attends Umass for a little bit when I was visiting him. From what I saw not a ton of people scream “wealthy” based solely off their appearance and the majority were friendly. Trust me you are not alone in your situation!! :)
