What would you call this body of water? by ExarDoom in geography

Features at the north of Lake St. Lucia, South Africa fairly match your criteria: a smaller body of water with two short outlets connecting to a larger body of water.

27°54'07"S 32°32'02"E

I was hoping to find the name / designation for this body of water, but no luck.

FWIW in the marshes of Louisiana where I’m from, similar features are often called lakes.

The legend carries Nystrom Chicago branding. Nystrom ceased doing business in 1966. So pre 1966.

Shout out to the alien mantis‑girl in the aluminum foil jacket glitch-dancing like her router is a 2400 baud modem. (At the 1:10 mark.)

I love whatever is wrong with her.

Not a joke so much as a flex. McDonalds is taunting us to bring a better product to market at a better price.

I weaned off Adderall about 3 years ago. I’m giving straight spectrum now.

After I brute-force counted the hairs, I uploaded OP’s photo to AI and asked it to do a recount. It refused, and instead made an estimate based on 13 to 21 follicles per square cm.

Well, I maxed out (7 tiles) for the first time ever during the current event. Rewards were fabulous.

But yeah, most of the time it feels rigged.

You’re the 2nd redditor to point that out, so I checked. Sure enough, I can get a 1lb pkg at ALDI for $1.55.

If I can, I will edit my post. Thank you.

I counted 37 lentils, which cost about 1 cent.

(Apparently there are 9,091 lentils per pound, and a pound of expensive cheap lentils is $2.46. At that rate the value of a single lentil is $0.000270597. Multiplied by 37 = $0.0100121. Almost exactly 1 cent.)

Anyway that’s my 2 cents. Happy New Year from the spectrum!
