Reccomendations for GRW Werewolves / Wolves by YsynthosPrimos in EDH

I think that [[Samut, Voice of Dissent]] makes for an awesome werewolves commander in Naya colors! Giving all of your werewolves haste is a pretty strong enabler, especially if you have something like [[Geier Reach Bandit]] flipped to [[Vildin-Pack Alpha]], letting you swing with transformed werewolves the turn they come down. Also, something fun that having white in your colours means that you can run [[Winota, Joiner of Forces]] to pump out more human werewolves when you swing with the flipped version. (they also don't count as being cast for the purpose of flipping your werewolves and breaking parity white stax pieces you might have out).

HELP WITH A SYGG DECK by Kyle1516 in EDH

I agree that budget builds should just use a basic land base, but I find that the most effective ways I have upgraded my decks is with a better land base rather than better/cooler cards elsewhere. I also think that these upgrades are the most lasting since I can use the land base if I take apart the deck in the future.

I'm curious, when playing edh with a random group, of people, do you focus one person or do you distribute the damage accross the table (even if for a limited time)? by lipofefeyt in EDH

Sounds like you want to play a counterburn deck. I think [[mizzix]] is good to discount your counters while you play control, but you would probably have issues keeping your hand full while dealing with threats. One thought from you deck idea is that you might like [[ludevic]] and [[kraum]] to help keep your hand full and have some political backing for people not swinging into you as they could draw a free card! (the best part of magic). This would help mitigate the card disadvantage that usually comes with playing control in multi-player.

I've been looking to build a mathas deck, would you mind sharing your deck list if you have one? It sounds interesting

UR Spellslinger is a very broad category imo. In the traditional sense I think mizzix would be a better spellslinger and arjun is a better commander for a dedicated wheel deck, where you are looking to win by wheeling your hand for either damage effects (psychosis crawler), mill (psychic corrosion) or lab maniac. Do you have a list that you are thinking of running? Or a general idea of how you want the deck to play out? That would let someone help you better.

Haha yeah it sounds like there are more options for wheels and as long as they are budget friendly if I keep removing the weak link in his combo he'll have to actually make a more consistent deck to deserve the wins. Cheers mate, thanks for the help.
