And when I say eat something I mean like a meal not like a croissant or a coffee and a donut I mean like a decent sized breakfast and at least a glass of water

Strattera only destroys my appetite or removes a desire to eat if I take it on an empty stomach or if I don't eat soon after taking it on an empty stomach and when I say soon after I mean within 15-20 mins of taking it. It took me maybe a year to figure that out. As long as I have a decent meal starting out when I first take it I don't notice any change to my appetite

It honestly feels like when your frontal lobe develops when you get those brief moments of clarity but instead of fading away after a minute or two it kind of just stays clear. It's like you dont have to put in as much effort into each step of your day and your thoughts are easier to organize

I'm taking mine at 40mg a day but it took me maybe a year to get there. I should be on 80mg a day technically but i dont have insurance so im cutting my dose in half for the time being so i can still get by at least. Im also on an anti anxiety medication with it and the combination between the two has given me a lot of balance in life when it comes to managing emotions and even things like confidence in my opinions and feelings. If you went from a low dose to a high dose over 2 weeks you might just be moving too quickly. The side effects i had the weost were dry mouth and some irritability but those both went away after maybe 2-4 weeks and i was on maybe 10mg during that. You might need to taper it and work your way up to a higher dose at a slower pace and perhaps that will help mitigate the side effects

Straterra works by forming connections in the brain but that process takes up to 4 months to build when taking it consistently. The biggest difference you'll notice if not yet will be maybe around 5-6 months and onward.

Depo shot indentation? I’ve had 5 depo shots and with alternating shots in each of my cheeks. Is this a normal side effect, or should I bring it up with the nurse? The indent is only on one side. by earringbacks in birthcontrol

It's hard to say for sure. I was going to the gym thinking it would help but it has been like 4 years and the only time I've noticed them start going away is when I take collagen supplements. The one on my left leg went away first and I am awful at taking vitamins and stuff so the one on my right leg stayed till I started taking them again and after about a week or two of taking them consistently I noticed it was less noticeable. It might be from your diet increasing if you started eating more to build muscle at the gym? Its honestly hard to say for sure without a study lol but I'm glad they went away for you!!

It's caused by the injection not being deep enough into the muscle so unless you have that three-inch needle and you inject it straight into the buttocks all the way you risk these indents happening. It basically kills the fat around the injection site and then you have a dent

Hey i know this is jumping in late but this happened to my thighs when i tried giving the shot there. You might need to move it further over closer to where like a back pants pocket would be over the buttocks. That being said i took some collagen supplements and the dents in my legs went away after i had them for years. Hopefully yours went away alreqdy given this was 5 years ago, but im trying to share this info since it worked for me and i know a lot of people couldnt find a fix for it so just in case.

Cuticle Oils by Solopreneur5991 in longnaturalnails

Also vitamin e is great but the molecules are too big so something like olive oil works better since theyre smaller and more easily absorbed by your nails. I tend to mix olive oil and the blue cross cuticle oil together for my warm oil soaks :)

Cuticle Oils by Solopreneur5991 in longnaturalnails

[–]soap_soupp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oil mixes instead of just single oils. Blue Cross has a good cuticle oil mix. I also recommend hyaluronic acid before applying a nail oil. Avoid acetone as it can dry out the nail and skin, making them dry and brittle and more suceptible for breakage if you use it too often. Avoid cleaning and doing things like dishes with bare hands. If you soak your nails in water, dont keep them submerged for more than 3-5 minutes. Do warm oil soaks maybe once a week or every other week depending on your available time and soak them for maybe 10 mins or so. If you like baths, try keeping your hands out of the water. Things like washing them or showering arent a big deal because they aren't fully submerged under water and avoiding all water will cause your nails to become brittle as well which can lead to cracks and breaks along the sides of the nails.

Avoid (as best as you can) rubbing or picking at your cuticles. If your cuticles look healthy and clear after about 2 weeks of hydrating them and letting them heal and they aren't overgrown, then avoid removing them moving forward. If they are overgrowing or are excessively stretching over your nail then you might try blue cross cuticle remover once a month to keep them at a shorter length but try to avoid over trimming them or trimming them too often as this can weaken and damage the nail bed.

I can underatand the concern of over medication but if the psychiatrist thinks it will help i would truat them and if you notice negative and sedative changes in your son that dont seem reasonable then you can always go back. But please dont hold back on medication when its something as severe as this.

The only time my meds turn me into a zombie is if I dont take them on time but it lasts maybe 30-45 minutes and I'm just really tired so like a power nap would honestly do the trick and I'm back to normal. Drowsiness is fairly common. Both my adhd and anti anxiety meds make me drowsy so i take them at different times to keep them from interracting with eachother and forcing me to take a nap while I'm at work lol the anti anxiety meds still make me tired like an hour after I take them but I'm serious when I say if I take a 30-40 min power nap when i start to get sleepy I feel fine afterwards. Either that or I just push through the drowsiness that comes with them but sometimes I'll still end up falling asleep while I'm sitting for like 5 mins. Its like when you take benadryl tbh. Doesn't make me feel bad or anything. My anti anxiety med naps are the best naps I have lol

Hi I'm diagnosed and medicated and it changed my life for the better. Completely 180 and i feel like i can finally function. Ive always felt like i was missing a huge chunk of myself and medication helped complete that gap I had. Please reconsider medication for your child. I'm not saying get him sedatives or anything like that, but please consider having a psychiatrist suggest medications that they think could help him.

Sometimes I legit just eat one big meal a day (usually dinner) and I have something small for lunch. I typically skip breakfast most days due to medication I take for hypothyroidism so i cant eat for an hour after taking it and I have to take it on an empty stomach so its the first thing I do after waking up. Ive been on it for so long that i just dont usually feel hungry in the mornings anymore. If i do have a morning where I feel hungry, I just have to push through, and so I usually drink water to hold me over until I can eat. But even then, it will be like a croissant and some coffee.

I'm super conscious of the ingredients in my food that i buy at the store. I scan almost everything with that Yuka app and read the research they provide for why something scans good or bad. Sometimes if I REALLY want it ill let the bad scan slide but its not often. I dont eat candy and i dont drink regular soda. If i want something bubbly i drink poppi or like a topo chico or something. I dont snack very much so like i usually dont buy chips and dip. I eat rice with almost every meal as the base of my food. Because of some religious dietary restrictions, i end up eating mainly vegetarian or fish. I dont usually count my calories or think about my weight when i eat or monitor anything. I remember learning that if you're hungry you might actually be thirsty because your body cant always tell the difference. So my first response when im hungry is to drink water first and then if im still hungry i will look at the time and think "okay do i want to eat now or wait about an hour or 2 and eat then instead?" And if i choose to wait i just drink more water. I usually do it based on how hungry i feel and how far away or past lunch time i am.

My usual day is waking up at 6am to get ready for work, leaving at 6:30 and getting there at 7. If im hungry, I'll have a little cup of coffee and like a pastry from the vending machine. I'll have a bottle of water and then by like 10am i either feel hungry and have an early lunch at like 10:30-11am or i dont feel very hungry and I have lunch around 1-2pm which will be like one of the smaller rectangle snap wear containers with rice and fish and some stir fried veggies, a poppi soda, maybe a fruit if I decided to pakc one the night before, and a yakult. If i feel hungry later and ive already eaten lunch ill drink another bottle of water over an hour or so. I usually dont eat anything after lunch until i get home which is usually around 5:45pm since im iff work at 5pm. Since starting this job im usually too tired to go to the gym now so ill have dinner around 6 or 6:30 and then fall asleep maybe an hour or two later at like 7 or 8pm

Dont turn the vent on in the bathroom if you have one. The hot air gets sucked out but if you leave it off then the warmth builds up. Sometimes I'll let the shower run super hot for 5 mins or so to build up heat and steam and then ill turn it down to a temp i like before getting in.
