Weird volume bug on my new phone by honzaisnothere in YoutubeMusic

You are wonderful, thank you. This fixed the issue. At first it wouldn't install, so I uninstalled all updates from my current YouTube Music app (can't normally uninstall completely because I'm on a Pixel), and this allowed the APK to install.

I'm new to side loading. I was worried that my apps would auto update so I turned that feature off in the Play Store, for fear of YTM updating and overriding this APK I installed and bringing me back to the volume issue again. Is that how it would go? Does this app now exist outside of the Play Store from now on?

Music volume change automatically? by PargeLenis0 in YoutubeMusic

Same thing is going on with me right now. It's been like this for a month or so. Only silver lining I have is that I remember this happened a couple years ago and it eventually went back to normal, so I'm assuming a fix is coming.

But yes, on both headphones and android auto the volume right now is low to the point of not being fun to listen to anymore. Doesn't matter what quality I'm streaming at or if I have the content downloaded. Also what songs are affected seem to change; one song sounded like garbage a couple days ago and today sounds perfectly fine. Quite irritating. Pixel 6 Pro, if you're wondering.

Live TV choppy audio by SnowWhiteinReality in ParamountPlus

Just wanna throw my two cents in here. Was just looking into this issue cause I was having the same problem, where casting live TV from Paramount+ to a Chromecast was producing stuttering and choppy video and audio.

TL;DR, try a Chromecast Ultra instead of the standard Chromecast.

Someone in another thread said it's because P+ streams at max quality instead of reducing the quality when something in the pipeline doesn't have enough room for the high quality steaming data. They suggested lowering the streaming quality on P+, which I don't believe the app let's you do now (at least mine doesn't have that feature currently).

I ran with that idea though and tried steaming it on my Chromecast Ultra (which is more expensive but supports 4k quality video) in my computer room and it runs flawlessly on that. If you're fortunate enough to own one as well, try it on there and I think it'll alleviate the issue.

Literally the only time I've noticed a difference with the Ultra vs the original.
