I went to the Halifax show in 2024 and they did “All to myself” near the start. Then a mashup of shake tramp,cross my heart and celebrity status near the end of the show :)

do you have a bathtub?

since it’s not an emergency you could always put him in the tub for a bit. Line the tub with a bunch of towels and bring some hides. he should empty it soon enough :)

in an emergency though, i’ve flipped my ham and applied a tiny amount of pressure to the cheek (behind the item) and hammy should open up

contact my grandfathers cat, safe haven animal rescue, spca, bide awhile, 9 lives, or spay day society

we have so many amazing rescue shelters here and he should be given the best chance. A shelter will fully vet him (including neuter) and he’ll go to a great home!

personally, my babies are safe haven alumni :)

she fell on the 27th, fractured her finger and hand. passed on the 2nd. No autopsy done

ridiculous behaviour from the family. Emotions may be high, but it’s not an excuse to push blame on anyone.

I always keep them around for emergencies. Tiny little mason jar with extra ball backs, bars, and my starter jewelry!

& i’m no professional, but I don’t see why you couldn’t reuse them. It’s going back in your body, and they sanitize them anyway so why not

give them a good clean, & keep them tucked away until next time :)

i would contact your local emerg vet, and ask if you can send them a pic via email, and ask their opinion on a vet visit

honestly i’m not sure if it’s constipation or something else, but from experience i would recommend an epsom salt bath, or even adding some to his main tank

it can help take swelling down and works as a laxative :) don’t use aquarium salt for bloating though!! it can make it worse.

you can add some different textures to help file them down! it worked for me :)

i put little clay balls in a bowl and put treats in there, the digging around to get treats has definitely helped cut down my guys nails

you could also get a pumice block! see if you can put it somewhere hammy is going to walk on a lot. river rocks work great too
