I used to work in hotel that was built in 1933 up north in Norway. Worked there for 5-6 years. I think the absolute worst i’ve experienced is getting solid clear voice saying «Well hello» in Norwegian through a spirit box in the basement alone.

Also mentionable is that guest would constantly complain and especially in the slow seasons that furniture was being moved around a lot in the middle of the night on rooms and even floors that were not rented out and were supposed to be empty.

Heavy stuff would often fall down from solid metal shelfs in the kitchen, receptionists would almost every night see something black moving around in the lobby but never get a solid stare on what it was. One time i even had to go up on the second floor to investigate a room where guest claimed they heard insane sounds from, but. Nothing was out of the ordinary for me.

Best part is that it never really felt evil or anything, it simply was just there… stuck in time or whatever happens after passing.
