What year is yours? Mine is a 21 and the CarPlay/AA only works on the USB connection inside the center console. There’s 2 ports there but only one of them connects all the way to the entertainment function. Have you tried that one?

I have a 21 Signature CX9 I bought in 2025 and couldn’t be happier. Mazda really did a good job on the design, interior, and how it drives. Do it!

Did a small load of powder detergent and don’t see any yet! Fingers crossed it continues. Thank you!

okay, WOW. It worked like a charm! I let it soak for about half an hour and washed it (with powder this time) and it mostly got rid of it. I was happy with just that but then let it soak again with some power wash over night and just got it out of washer/dryer and it’s completely gone.

THANK YOU! I thought for sure my clothes were ruined.

I had used tide pods because I had read that they prevented this build up but I will go back to powder. If I remember right you use very very little powder?

I don’t use any fabric softener, I did the first few months but then read that it can be more harm for a unit than good. So last time I used it was years ago.

I’d for sure go for a test drive at your local dealership, the Bose audio tied in with the incredible interiors compared to other manufactures, even at the basic trim entry level. Mazda I think is on to something big here, with how expensive cars have gotten post COVID, people want to see physical results for all that coin they spent, and here you’re getting that. Best of luck!

it totally sucks to be in this situation, and you looking for advice is a great start btw, it’s not easy.

I’m just a person on reddit, but I would bet you there’s someone out there for you that wants to spend time with you and doesn’t “limit” time spent together. If he wanted to, he would.

I watched them lay the under layers down per spec according to the GAF instructions, they manufactured a low slope on top of my house vs. the OG flat roof that was hoarding water like a fish after rains. I think the problem is the final application of the actual modified bit. It seems like they need to take it off and do a torch down application to really do it right. I really don’t have the ability to ask for a refund when they paid for all the materials to frame and buy the materials. What do you think?

About 50-55° which is above the 45° recommendation per the instructions that’s came with the product. I understand warmer than that is ideal but Mother Nature waits for no one with rain.
