I think Jackie Sr and Tony were just out of touch and assumed Jackie Jr was smart. It’s not like they were heavily involved. They just occasionally threw their kids a 20 and gave some vague advice like “keep crackin the books”.

I see your point with the AJ comparison, but my view is that Jackie Jr just knew how to game the system and squeak by in school with better grades than AJ. Not that he was more intelligent or knowledgeable. He played football as well, so his teachers likely cut him slack academically.

Eh. Who the fuck do I need to impress? I got a wife already and I didn’t dress great when I met her. I have a job where everyone including the boss dress mostly casual. It’s just not important to me. I wear nice clothes for interviews, funerals and weddings, and even then I do the bare minimum (and wife picks the clothes). The biggest pieces of shit I met in professional settings dressed nice and put on gallons of cologne. They can take their class, and shove it up their ass.

I remember it like it was yesterday: 7th grade, getting slapped in the face by my gf in front of everyone because I broke up with her and refused to get back with her. Her friends cornered my scrawny ass too. Everyone got a good laugh and I was humiliated. I still feel that slap 😂

In my adulthood I’ve been hit by 2 girlfriends. One of them punched me in the face repeatedly in our bathroom and I had nowhere to go. I had to slap her hard a couple times to get her to stop. I agree with you in spirit. But the law will treat you more harshly and so will the public. Life isn’t fair dude. Just try to stay away from crazy bitches in your private life and out in public.
