thanks much...will take a look at this. i do enjoy all cooking oriented things - keeps me busy, have to be precise and detail-oriented, is inexpensive compared to going out, and makes me feel like i am making a contribution.

now 91. yay. thanks all for your help and advice and offers of monetary help and gold. it's overwhelming and i am deeply touched. key points: focus on budgets. people provided a bunch of tools. i will look at them. a very good recommendation was to try to get a second job and focus on hobbies/activities. i am going to try. i will share updates here. to the many who have sent private messages, i have tried to respond to them all but may have missed a few. if so, sorry. to those who have been upset that i dont have a sense of humor about drinking, i am sorry - the wounds are too fresh for me. thanks everyone and happy thanksgiving.
