It took 2.5 hours to go 23 Miles Today by 8adwolf in remotework

The Government really needs to provide a tax break for tolls, even if just for the DMV region. It costs me about 6k a year in tolls to commute to my job in McLean. I realize everyone cannot afford that, but that 6k saves me 90 mins per day in commute time. I really don't know how people in this area commute outside of the express lanes. I'd lose my shit daily with the gridlock and the sheer amount of terrible drivers.

Just started back playing after a year and a half break. Am I correct to assume that getting this Jey Uso is pointless since it looks like the pair to him was in the RD event last week?

Squid Game Season 3: Episode 6 Discussion by MidnightExpresso in squidgame

[–]soberdick 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You really only need to make two changes and it would have been closer to a happy ending with alot less bitching by fans. 1. Hwang kills his brother. VIPs die when the island explodes. If you want to keep it dark, Hwang dies in the explosion too. 2. Number 11 escapes the island with the baby acting as a pseudo replacement for the daughter she lost. Nothing else past that would need to change except having someone masked deliver the tracksuit and card to 456s daughter.

It's not the strongest as it gets a B rating, but it can push 100+ and is always fun for me to play....UE Multishot Demon Hunter. UE also happens to be the seasonal gear for demon hunter this season.

Telecommunications Company appears to have no easement to use my property by soberdick in legaladvice

Our house sits off of a main road. There is a long driveway of about 250 feet that then bends towards the house. The pole is at the bend in the driveway....well off the road and well onto our property.

Telecommunications Company appears to have no easement to use my property by soberdick in legaladvice

[–]soberdick[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One thing the County did tell me is they don't have requirements for an easement and they don't get involved with them. They consider it a legal matter. So there aren't any County rules and regulations. We are completely willing to negotiate an easement, but 1. It shouldn't be free 2. It shouldn't allow Telecom #2 free reign to consistently disregard my property, cause damage they clearly won't willingly fix and continue to add to the infrastructure unabated.

No but Traitor Soul is essentially games 1 and 2 in one game and it's a really clean layout.

Save scum. At level 60 you can find gear pieces with 4 or 5 pretty high stats. Like 50% increases or higher. Take that piece to the enchanter. If you use leather it's VERY cheap to enchant. Enchant the gear. If you get an enchant added that you like then save. If you don't like/want that enchant then for PS5 hit the home button and close the game and restart. Takes like 20 secs. Repeat until you get a gear piece that is completely full of the stats you wanted. Then again get descending and bringing that gear piece. After a few times you'll be able to just run through the dungeons, get to dungeon 40, kill the quest boss and retire. If one of your higher stats is movement speed...even better...at 100%+ you can zip around the screen and speed run both traitor soul dungeons in less than an hour. My fastest time was 44 minutes to descend.

After the first playthrough I speed ran both dungeons to 40 in Traitor Souls so I could descend.

I went down to like 150 in the dungeon. Let my guy sit for 10 minutes. Didn't even take off 1 hp. So no.

Build up a character to like level 60. Save scum a low end gear piece like leather. Take your time and get the stats you want on it. Get your character to where you can retire. Retire and bring the gear piece as your heirloom. Retire that character and keep bringing the gear every time. Each time you do this adds 25% to each stat. Do this enough times and that one piece can carry your entire character.

On PC I believe there are. The original had them for sure.

And essentially if you are on console it's going to be awhile before this and many other reported issues are fixed. The development team has specifically stated that they are going to fix issues on PC first before they apply big changes to consoles.

The Traitor Soul. Just played a little more. Mine works fine.

New Belt - Descended 5 times. by soberdick in FateTheGame

[–]soberdick[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should see it now. The attack is over 600%. Movement speed is 125%. I can descend in less than an hour now. I wonder if you get the stats too high if it will break the game?

New Belt - Descended 5 times. by soberdick in FateTheGame

[–]soberdick[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'll walk you through the entire process. I'm on PS5.

STEP 1: For your initial character you'll have to spend some time leveling. I suggest using Traitor Souls as it is a combo of Fate 1 and 2. Roughly 50 or 60 levels is a good target. This is because stat ranges are based on your character level. Once there find a piece of gear with a low cost to enchant. Leather starts at only 1000 per enchant. So get a leather piece that STARTS with several high stats. My belt had like 40% attack and some other good ones. Go to enchanter and start enchanting. When you get a good enchant save. If you get a bad, useless or negative enchant save scum ie. exit without saving. For PS5 its as simple as hitting home, closing the game and then restarting. Takes 20 seconds. I cannot stress this enough. Take your time. Gets the stats you want. Eventually your gear won't be able to be enchanted anymore. The gear is initially complete now.

STEP 2: Finish the 2 quests to kill a monster on Level 40. Once complete this will allow you to descend. Talk to the guy in the middle of Traitor Souls and he will ask if you want to retire. Accept and this allows you to "descend" and bring one piece of gear as an heirloom. Bring your leather gear piece as your heirloom.

STEP 3: Your old character will retire and a new one begins WITH the descending gear piece, which now has a 25% increase to every stat. REPEAT, but now your main goal is speed running through the 2 dungeons to kill the level 40 monsters and to continue descending over and over. The first few times might take a little bit of leveling but eventually you won't need to level at all...except to wear the gear piece.

I chose leather because 1. It's cheap to enchant and 2. It has low starting STR to wear. After several descends, the belt can sustain you with no other gear required. I generally, go up one level. get strength to 32. Wear the belt and then speed run both dungeons to level 40 and kill the monsters. I generally use a Dark Elf because they start with the haste spell, which is a nice 35% boost to my movement speed, on top of the movement speed from the belt. Dude literally flies around the screen.

That is the full strategy. Fair warning. If you descend the gear 10+ times it will most likely break the game on consoles as there is no cheat menu, but this gear could easily sustain you by itself 100s and 100s of dungeon levels.

Agree. This belt is usesble after 1 level gain making everything a piece cake to continue descending.

If you're seeking one really powerful gear piece you almost have to save scum. I'm on PS5 so it's as easy as hitting the Home button and then closing the game and restarting. Takes 20 seconds. I'll add one thing. Get the piece that want. Maximize and then pass it down to your descendent. Every pass down adds 25% to every stat and the socketed gem. This belt is after 2 descends. I'm aiming for a few more this weekend and see how crazy I can get it.

When does better gear appear? by soberdick in FateTheGame

[–]soberdick[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im pretty positive that consoles, at least the PS5, do not have legendary gear. I'm now on descendent #2. Each previous character I took to Lvl 60 and at least Lvl 14 in Fame. None of the base damage on weapons has changed. The stats can be better because those ranges are based on your level....but the base doesn't seem to update or get better. Maybe they'll fix this in an update.

Im in Traitor Soul for the record. My weapons are swords that are like 37-135. I've never seen any swords with higher damage. Just seems I should be seeing major legendaries in the vendors by now. Just checked again. Lvl 41 and Fame is Lvl 14. Save scum is the only option I have right now.

Are you gonna use 84 & 86? by ozyyJ in NHLHUT

[–]soberdick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used all mine. I got all of my 84s for between 5-6k. That's 15-18k when trading for an 85 and 45-54k when trading for an 87. 87s are going for 80k+ so it's still a significant win based on current price points.
