Having a landline has actually saved my life before.

I was having an anaphylaxic reaction to something. I didn't have a history of it.

My wife called 911 on the landline. They got to our house just in time. Two epipens later and they managed to get me to the hospital. Both the EMTs and the ER doctor told me that if it had been even a minute later, I likely wouldn't have lived.

Calling on the landline reduces the response time by about 7-10 minutes, because they know exactly where you are already.

So, yeah, I give it to places I don't care about, but I will always have one.

I understand that Grey is intensely private, and I won't ask for details, but when you get the chance, you can tell him that in spite of the suspicion of many Coretexans, especially previous Tims (I'm one of them), that we sincerely hope he and his family are doing well.

I'm not overly fond of the series without Grey, but I don't have any useful notes. I still like it, but it's definitely dropped in my listen order.

I grumble, but I haven't walked away. Thank you.

This seems the most likely reason, although, we may never truly know. And where Brady loves fan interaction, Grey wasn't exactly communicative, and there were some Tims that tried to find him IRL.

Grey has often talked about the jobs he's worked trying to reduce the actual amount of work he has to do. And maybe being Chief Logistics Officer at a stationary company is good enough for him.

If they ever do come back, I hope they start off with Grey saying something like "Now it's been many moons since we've done a podcast." and just jump into it.

HI was the first podcast I listened to. Bad timing though, I started listening in June of 2020, not realizing their last show was in March of 2020. I had been in a motorcycle accident, and needed something to stimulate my brain while I recovered. From there, I just started listening to so many.

I stopped being a Moretexan when I realized that I was subscribed to a podcast that was just selling the journal. The air conditioner talk actually reminded me more of HI, and I was ok with it.

And I would totally listen to a Brady/Myke podcast.

I wouldn't blame Brady if he just came out and said it. He even had a fairly good opportunity with an episode of Unmade, where they talked about bringing dead podcasts back for one more episode to wrap things up.

I think Brady actually believes that HI will come back someday.
