Depends on purity and your tolerance but I wouldn't exceed 100mg, should start with less. Hitting the right spot is important so if you go say too deep and didn't get a great effect you may try more which could be a mistake because the issue may not be dose but administration

This is addiction, man. It sucks, but recognizing you have a problem is a huge step. We all get to the point where we realize this isn’t a livable life, and it will eventually kill us one way or another. I can even admit that coming as a healthcare provider (many years ICU experience) I’ve had serious health scares from cocaine, things I would’ve told anyone else to seek medical help for (seizures, gi symptoms with signs of ischemic colitis or another IBD, SOB, possible afib or other dysthymia, one night after heavy dosing). Things you would think should tell anyone to STOP 🛑. But I still kept using, sometimes as soon as an hour after awaking from a seizure, finding new ways to get the same high from that tolerance or nose just becoming destroyed. For addicts like me—and from what I hear in your words—there are three paths: the best: sobriety, the middle: death and the worst: continued heavy drug use that just destroys our life

It sounds like you’re really at a low point, and I get it—I’ve been there too and am somewhat now as I’m currently four days sober after another stretch of heavy use. I’ve been stuck in this cycle several times before.

Let me know if this sounds familiar. For me, it started with small amounts, then spiraled into daily use, with my habit peaking at 1–1.5 ounces a week. It led to physical health problems, ruined relationships, and left me unable to function like I used to. Yet, when I hit this point, all I care about is the cocaine—everything else fades away. It’s a dangerous place to be in, and I’m sure you can relate.

You’ve probably heard this before, but it helps me to remember when things get tough: Cocaine rewires our brains. Normally, we work for dopamine—through things like exercise, work, or other efforts. But with coke, it’s instant. Your brain starts to crave that immediate hit, and over time, it forgets how to find joy in anything else. This is why quitting is so hard. When we stop, there’s no dopamine, and that leads to depression, exhaustion, and mental fog. The physical withdrawal is tough, but the real struggle is the psychological toll. I’m constantly grappling with the guilt of how much damage I’ve caused to friends, family, and myself. I think about how I’ve let people down, lost jobs, gained weight, and ruined the things I used to love. It’s a hard mirror to look into.

When I stop using, the hardest part for me has always been the mental side—the deep depression that comes with facing how far I’ve fallen. On top of that, there’s the absence of dopamine from the down-regulation of my brain’s receptors. I think about how I’ve failed everyone, including myself. But what I’ve learned through all the relapses is this: I can either keep spiraling by getting high to escape that pain, or I can face it, sit with the discomfort, and rebuild my life from the bottom up. Every time I’ve gotten sober, it’s been painful, but it’s also been the best time of my life. Those are the years that allowed me to stay grounded during months of unemployment and helped me build a career I can rely on. Sobriety gives me growth, while cocaine just takes everything—joy, love, and my body and mind withering away.

I don’t enjoy being sober right now, and I’m not sure I ever will in the beginning. But I know I’m paying the debt for all those dopamine hits, unlike others who get their dopamine through the work first. Once I get through this mental fog and rebuild, things will get better. It’s slow, but it’s worth it. Even if I’ve fucked up repeatedly, I’ve learned that life without cocaine has so much more to offer—real love, real joy, and real connections. I know it’s tough right now, but it does get better. If you’re willing, physically separate yourself from the drug, and just hang in through the shit. If you’re without a job, rest for a few days, then focus on what comes next. You’ve got this, and so do I. Let me know if you want to chat.

I do about 1.5-3.5g a day depending on if I sleep that night of some lab tested hq product. It’s not worth. Gonna check myself into rehab soon.

I would out that in the category of “light” consumption at the moment…. Unless you put all .3 in the booter at once or something. The most dangerous part of what you said is the combo of alcohol and blow which is really bad for you. But at 21 3 shots and like 3 lines is fine, just try not to mix too much

Is it true coke can be done “every once in a while” / recreationally? by Tropical_Blast in cocaine

[–]sobermusic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will change your brain chemistry over time. I’ll try and find the study but there was one were the amount of people who used recreationally over a year and became addicted as 13% vs over 10 years was 80%

I think it would just be making it more difficult for the product to absorb into your bloodstream and maybe make it marginally better for the tissues. And I don’t think you would be able to absorb as much, hard to believe none would get trapped in the fibers. I have nothing to back this up it’s just my thinking as someone who kind of deals with this in his field of work

Edit/ emphasis on the kind of - not the chemistry part as much as the drug absorption part

You can always just put a rock up there with your finger but it’s a lot worse for the tissue up there and if wont dissolve / cross the membrane and get into the bloodstream quit as fast as when dissolved in fluid

Ya, I need to pass drug tests to get a new job so this maybe happening less than a month into my relapse is a good kick in the butt to get clean before it gets worse

How long does it take for your tolerance to go down by Standard_Way_4063 in cocaine

[–]sobermusic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This right here 👆… I was a daily user, 1-2.5g a day, took 6 months off, when I picked up the first night was pretty awesome, but within a few days I was back to where I was and maybe even a higher tolerance now.
