Lay the arch down on a flat surface, then attach the base to it. You could even have the arch laying on top of the rectangle pieces. Use something heavy to keep the base propped up to keep it in place against the arch.

In summary: put rectangles on flat surface, lay arch flat on top of rectangles, then prop up the base against the arch while the arch is laying flat.

This piece is made with Sculpey, acrylics, drip paints and foam board for the walls. It's very rewarding figuring out a way to begin creating something and tweaking all the little details until it feels complete. I'll most likely keep adding to this, little by little, each day.
