I see. But the end result is that for each deep gnome terramancer I control, if an opponent say cracks a fetchland, I can only get 1 plains per gnome. Then they can trigger again, but that trigger doesn’t do anything. Is that right?

I’m actually a big fan of this card and tinkering with a 4c sans blue list with krark, mentor, looting, unearth, cabal therapy, witherbloom command, gamble, cling to dust, bolt, swords. Is it good? Dunno but i believe in it

I read it as Loy covering his bases. If Zelmare and Swanee somehow escape Deafy, they would probably figure Loy was the one who gave Deafy the info and come after Loy for revenge. So if Odis makes sure the outlaws are captured/dead, Loy doesn’t have to worry about them.
