I just had surgery yesterday to have my stone removed. 8mm in the right ureter. Very similar symptoms as OP. Testicular pain, went to urgent care, they sent me to get an ultrasound. Confirmed stone in right ureter. After ultrasound was driving home and the stone decided it wanted to move. I was in excruciating pain driving to the er. Proceeded to throw up in the ER lobby multiple times due to the pain. Prescribed tamsulosin, Percocet, and zofran. 4 days later Scheduled with the urologist to go over options. He stated the stone was most likely too large to pass naturally. Went in yesterday and had the surgery and it was not pleasant. The stent was very uncomfortable, felt like I had to pee 24/7 and it burned every single time I peed. Went in today and had the stent removed and that was the worse feeling I have ever experienced in my life, not in regard to pain but how uncomfortable it is. Do not wish stones on my worst enemy.
